Bolshaw Digital Leaders are pupils from Key Stage 2 who meet each week with Mr Slezak (the computing coordinator) to discuss and plan improvements around school. They help promote and inspire computing in our school by running staff meetings, teaching groups of children, promoting e-safety, reviewing technologies and encouraging our pupils to be effective digital citizens.
Our Projects so far…
We started by refreshing e-safety throughout school. With the help of the children we created an easy code that children of all ages can remember.
With the help of Mrs Walsh, we have also written an e-safety rap to help our pupils learn the code. We are currently learning this so check back soon to see the video.
We also developed rules for when using the technology and shared these with the staff and children.
