School Grounds
Bolshaw Primary School is extremely fortunate to be set in such wonderful large grounds and surrounded by an environment rich in opportunities for outdoor learning.
We believe that every child should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of their learning and personal development.
We have an extensive field, sensory garden, wildlife habitat area with a pond, forest schools area, mud kitchens, den building areas, small allotment area, herb gardens with lots more planned for this next year.
New for 2018 will be a small orchard of fruit trees and completion of our wildlife hedge. This project will be completed by the children and staff under the guidance of City of Trees – Trees for Learning team.
