Teacher Assessment and Test Results

End of Year Teacher Assessment and Test Results 2021-2022

Schools currently do not need to publish key stage 2 results for the academic year 2021 to 2022, as the Secretary of State will not publish this data. This is because statutory assessments returned for the first time since 2019, without adaptations, after disruption caused by the pandemic.

Therefore our school’s most recent performance measures published by the Secretary of State are for the 2018 to 2019 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

However, here at Bolshaw we would like to celebrate the pupils performance measures and acheivements from 2021-2022.

As a school we are constantly striving for improvement. Overall our results in 2018-2019 were good with some areas of outstanding attainment within the key stages. As part of our school improvement planning we identify key focus areas that will be targeted during the academic year to maintain the standards and improve even further.  Click here to read our School Improvement Overview for parents 2022-2023.

The key focus areas include:

  • maintaining the improvements in Foundation Key Stage outcomes and the Year 1& 2 Phonics test; aiming to further close the gap to national averages
  • maintain the outcomes at the end of Key Stage One (Year 2)
  • raise standards in GAPS throughout school
  • more children to achieve the high standard in Key Stage 2 in Reading and Maths
  • improve outcomes in disadvantaged children across the school

Further details of school performance can be found at the DFE performance tables.
